THE BEST OF THE OLD PROFESSOR
I couldn’t even begin to make a guess at how many words I have typed since I began blogging back in August of 2004. I know I've posted around 100 blogs and obviously some were better than others. I’m going to attempt to list some of my favorites here and hope you might enjoy them too. I’ll attempt to underline the blog, which should allow you to click on it and return here when you are finished.
I suppose my Number 1 favorite is when I was watching the Summer Olympics in Athens and was intrigued by the Woman’s Beach Volleyball Competition. The finals came down to USA versus Brazil. I happened to notice the uniforms of the USA team said USA on the top part. This led me to write Brazilian Volleyball.
Since late 2004 I exercise almost every morning. I go to the local high school and go around and around the track at a speed I call “wogging”. That’s faster than just walking but slower than jogging. I wrote In Defense of Wogging with pictures. I enjoyed writing that.
I find many people enjoy reading about how I came to be in Carmel, California, living with Jen-Chi. I pretty much tell all in A Story About Me, or How I Came To Be In Carmel.
I still laugh almost every time I read A Little Thing which tells a little about how different words mean different things to different people.
I can’t leave out my analysis of the Gettysburg Address but only because my mother liked it better than anything else I have ever written. That’s a quote.
And lastly, the blog that got me the most comments was my describing My Son The Rock Singer.
So, if you have time, please take a look and let me know what, if anything, you think.
Enjoy,
